  • Student Research Center
    What is it? Student research tool for grades 6 through 12 from EBSCOhost. See this 5-min. Flash video by the Reference and Information Services Division (RISD) of the Ohio Library Council or this EBSCO YouTube video for a basic introduction. Another RISD video provides more detail on working with search results.

HomeworkNow is a live online information service which connects you to a live professional librarian 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to answer reference questions and assist you in finding information. This is an interactive site which can provide:

  • General Reference assistance is available during all hours.
  • Online professional tutors are available from 2 p.m. to midnight, seven days a week. Some questions may be referred to the online tutors during this time.
  • Specialists in the subjects of business, foreign languages, genealogy, government information, health, history, law, literature, music and art, science, technology and the social sciences are available from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm Monday – Saturday.
  • At the conclusion of each HomeworkNow session, you will receive a complete transcript of your session via email including links to all the online resources shared during that session.
