Carol Reed, Staff Librarian
My name is Carol Reed.  I have been employed with the Bradford Public Library for two years on a part-time basis.  I first took the job to earn a little extra money, but found out that I really enjoy working at the library.

I like meeting and talking with the patrons and it makes me feel good that I was able to help them on the computer, or FAX something for them or help them find that perfect book they have been looking for.  It is a nice change from my other job.

I am employed full-time at Bradford Exempted Village Schools, I am an educational aide in the Bradford’s Multiple Handicapped Unit.  I love my job, but it can be challenging and stressful at times.  The library is a much calmer atmosphere.

I am married with three grown sons.  My sons all graduated from Bradford and two of them live in the Bradford area.  I also have two grandsons, ages 10 and 10 months.  The oldest will be in the fifth grde this year and attends Bradford Elementary.

I am proud to say that I live and work in such a wonderful caring community as Bradford.  The people in this town just seem to pitch in whenever there is a need.  The Bradford Public Library has so much to offer for a community our size and I feel very fortunate to be part of the staff.
