Light Up the Park 2017

Bradford Public Library held two very special dedications on November 25 before the Light Up the Park Ceremonies.  A donation by Local Author John Scalzi in addition to memorial contributions helped to purchase our beautiful digital sign. We hope you enjoy finding out about library events on it’s bright display.  The GRO garden club donated our Railroader Silhouette, manufactured at Boscott Metals and finished at Production Paint, he stands watch over our facility! Local electician Bob Wiltshire donated time and material to help his lantern shine bright every night!  We thank each of you for helping us keep the public informed and our library beautiful!

After the dedications, everyone headed to Iddings Park for the annual Lighting of the Park. Bradford High School Band provided music, Sue Vickroy read Twas the Night Before Christmas and Santa himself came to see the children. Cookies and hot chocolate were provided at the library while the young ones visited with Santa or had their face painted. All in all the night was great fun for all! Merry Christmas everyone!
